Building a Stronger OT Cybersecurity Community — Together! (OT-ISAC and CXC)
A shared vision. Hands-on learning. A more resilient future.
8-October 2026

This is another significant announcement by CXC for the year 2026!
We are proud to announce that OT-ISAC and CyberXCenter (CXC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration in Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity, capability development, and industry resilience during OT-ISAC Summit 2026.
This collaboration is beyond signing an agreement, it is with the purpose to translate into practical skills, real-world experience, and stronger capabilities to protect the critical infrastructure that our communities depend on.

During the OT-ISAC Summit, CyberXCenter conducted a hands-on OT Cyber Range Exercise through our product - Cyber Jungle.
The reason for the name Cyber Jungle was because it is through the jungle of predators and hunters, that the defenders must conduct the necessary hands-on triage to protect their power plant from being attacked. The Digital Twin used in the Cyber Range was in collaboration with SUTD - iTrust.
Through a hands-on workshop, participants had the opportunity to access the CyberXCenter Cyber Range, work directly with OT network traffic, and practice identifying and investigating potential cybersecurity incidents in an industrial environment.

This is what practical cybersecurity capability development is about — moving beyond theory to understand what happens on the network, recognize suspicious activities, and develop the skills needed to respond to incidents.
In OT cybersecurity, understanding the technology is only the beginning. Practitioners must also understand the operational environment, recognize abnormal behaviour, and make informed decisions that protect both cybersecurity and industrial operations.
Through our partnership, OT-ISAC and CyberXCenter aim to build on this foundation through:

Hands-on Training and Capability Development — Empowering practitioners with practical experience through cyber ranges, specialized programs, and realistic exercises.
Industry Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing — Bringing professionals together to exchange insights, experiences, and best practices.
Workforce Readiness and Professional Development — Developing the skills and competencies needed to strengthen the OT cybersecurity workforce.
Operational Resilience — Helping organizations improve their ability to detect, investigate, respond to, and learn from cybersecurity incidents.
Regional and International Engagement — Building stronger connections across industries and borders to address evolving threats to critical infrastructure.
The MOU also provides a framework for supporting professional certifications in collaboration with GRF Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd, creating further opportunities for professional development and skills recognition.

At CyberXCenter, we believe that humans are our greatest assets. Technology alone cannot secure critical infrastructure. We need capable people, trusted partnerships, continuous learning, and opportunities to practise before facing real-world incidents.
Our philosophy has always been simple: Training over theory. Practise over assumptions. Capability over compliance alone.

We are excited about what OT-ISAC and CyberXCenter can achieve together. This is an opportunity to strengthen the OT cybersecurity community, develop practitioners, and contribute to a more resilient industrial ecosystem.
Because ultimately, our mission goes beyond any single organization. It is about building the collective capability to protect the systems that keep our societies running.
Together, let's turn collaboration into capability, and capability into resilience.

About OT-ISAC:
OT Cybersecurity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (OT-ISAC) facilitates sharing of tactical and strategic security details, providing early insight into emerging threats, detection techniques and containment measures. OT-ISAC supports collective defence and resilience through community-driven intelligence sharing — connecting operators, government, and partners in a trusted channel for the exchange of tactical and strategic OT/ICS security information.

About CyberXCenter:
CyberXCenter's mission is to build national cybersecurity capabilities for Operational Technology (OT). Our goal is to safeguard national infrastructure by investing in strategic platforms through our Cyber Excellence Center, leveraging world-class technology to develop top-tier capabilities. We believe that people are the greatest assets in cybersecurity, and the way they are trained influences their thinking. The best training method is not theoretical but involves placing security leaders in simulated environments to help them grasp the threats to national infrastructures. This approach enables security leaders to maintain a world-class Security Operations Center (SOC) team and stay ahead of attackers.
