Our Team
Matthias Yeo
Founder & CEO
Matthias is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CyberXCenter. He is also double hatting as a COO for Momentum Z, an affiliated company of CyberXCenter.
He is a veteran in Cyber security and has over 20 years of experience in Cyber Security and Technology Leadership. He is presenting serving as an independent board of Director/Member in multiple Organisations and as a Technology Advisory in Tech Strait, an investment arm into technology space.
Prior to founding CyberXCenter and Momentum Z, Matthias has held several high-profile roles. His background was from a Government Research Team in Cyber Security, and was formerly the CTO of Symantec APAC, and CTO of Blue Coat APAC. He also previously served as the President of ISC2 (Singapore Chapter).
Shane Chiang
Board Member
Co-Founder of CyberXCenter and serve as a Board Advisor. He is Momentum Z's CEO, running its overall business. With security in mind, he founded Momentum Z, positioning it as your cybersecurity partner. He also runs a defense contracting business that serves government contracts.
He has held past global and regional roles at MNCs.
Former positions include CEO cybersecurity startup, CE CMO HMD Global for Nokia Mobile, HTC Corporation, and OEM Manufacturing China.
Shane also mentors startups at the local universities and serves on the Singapore Cancer Society.

Andre Shori
Chief Information Security Officer (APAC), Schneider Electric
Andre Shori is the Chief Information Security Officer at Schneider Electric for the APAC region, where he is responsible for leading, animating and implementing Cybersecurity strategy. With over 30 years of professional experience, a SANS Master of Science in Information Security Management and 18 major cybersecurity certifications, he makes it his daily mission to improve Schneider’s cybersecurity maturity and posture.
Andre also serves as an executive board member of the Singapore chapter of (ISC)2 and as Vice President of the Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP), where he strives to advance the cybersecurity profession through a network of cross border partnerships with other professional associations. He works tirelessly to help create a vibrant global cybersecurity ecosystem to create a safe and secure cyberspace for everyone.
Chris Birrell
Former SVP of Symantec
Chris is a veteran in Cyber Security with more than 20 years of experience. was previously the SVP of Symantec responsible for the Global Network and Data Center Security. Prior to that, he held the position of CIO when he was at Blue Coat Systems.
In his tenure, he was part of the senior leadership team with 4 Technology exits the past 20 years.
Dr. Nandha Kumar Kandasamy
Former Research Scientist (SUTD)
Dr. Nandha was previously a Research Scientist in SUTD and worked on three cyber physical security projects focused on smart grids. Nandha has over 10 years of combined industrial and academic experience in energy management, smart grids, energy storage systems and cyber security.
He also served as a Co-PI for projects worth over 900k SGD. He received his PhD from NTU Singapore and Bachelors from Anna University India. He also has two years of industrial experience with Larsen and Toubro Ltd India and was working on low-voltage power and motor control centres.
Edison Yu
Executive Director, Business Innovation and Analytics at UOB
Edison is currently an Executive Director, Business Innovation and Analytics at UOB. He has more than 15 years of industry experience as a business strategist with a proven track record in driving business strategy from ideation to implementation and growing new digital businesses across the B2B, B2C and B2B2C market segments. Prior to UOB, Edison spent 11 years with Frost & Sullivan, during which he was the Head of their Cyber Security program in Asia Pacific, providing both business and cyber advisory to cyber security vendors and enterprise end-users alike. He provided industry thought leadership across both the IT and OT cyber security arenas and started a corporate venture focusing on OT cyber security during this stint in ComfortDelGro, one of the largest land mobility players in the world.
Dr Weiguo Wang
Former CTO and Director for Network Solutions Competence Centre for Alcatel
Dr Weiguo Wang obtained his PhD in Computer Science and was previously Alcatel Singapore's Chief Technology Officer and Director for Network Solutions Competence Centre.
He worked for Thales Singapore as head of Projects and then Head of Engineering leading a team of 150 project managers and engineers having delivered major security and transportation projects in Singapore, the SEA region, Mexico and Africa, including Re-signalling of NSEW for Singapore MRT, Integrated Supervision and Control System upgrade for Northeast Line, Fare Collection Gates for Downtown Line.
