The 6th UN-Singapore Cyber Fellowship, jointly organised by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) in partnership with the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) and the NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE), kicked off on Tuesday, 13 May 2025.

22 distinguished Fellows from UN Member States are currently participating in the Fellowship which is being held at the ASEAN-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence in Singapore. During this week of lectures, discussions and site visits, the Fellows will take part in a multi-disciplinary programme that will focus on the policy, operational, technical, ecosystem building, diplomacy and international law aspects of national cybersecurity decision making and international cyber cooperation.

In his opening remarks, Mr David Koh, Chief Executive of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore highlighted the real consequences that cyber threats could have in our daily lives. As such, it was important to equip national cyber leaders with inter-disciplinary expertise. Mr Koh also emphasised the importance of international cooperation in advancing our collective cyber resilience.

CyberXCenter led a comprehensive Tabletop Exercise designed to simulate a realistic crisis scenario affecting a Critical Information Infrastructure (CII). The exercise aimed to enhance the participants' understanding of potential cyber threats, test incident response protocols, and strengthen coordination among stakeholders in managing and mitigating the impact of such crises.
