It was an honour to collaborate with NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (NUS SCALE - NUS), Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and UNODA – United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs to host a class of esteemed senior leaders from around the globe for the UN-Singapore Cyber Fellowship programme.
It was jointly developed by Professor Yaacob Ibrahim, Professor in Practice at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and former Minister-in-charge of Cybersecurity; and Mr Ang Leong Boon, Head of IT Security, NUS Information Technology.
This round, we have 23 fellows, speakers and experts who contributed their time and expertise to make this programme possible.
This is a partnership between NUS SCALE, the ASEAN-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence and United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs again this year to run the UN-Singapore Cyber Fellowship. The participants are leaders from the different nation, coming together to learn and discuss about national cyber security strategies. I had to chance to plan the five day's programme with NUS and CSA.
t is truly an honor to have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our former Minister of Cyber Security, Yaacob Ibrahim, who initiated the establishment of the Cyber Security Agency. His unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation's security and his numerous endeavors have played a pivotal role in our present accomplishments. I have learnt so much from his wealth of knowledge and have a greater appreciation of the cyber security journey of Singapore.
I'm truly honored to be part of this amazing and meaningful programme.
As usual, we end with a fun shot with our wonder Yaacob Ibrahim,
